Reduce Partisan Extremes:
- Party Neutral Civic Education
- Party Neutral Redistricting (no more Gerrymandering)
- Rank-Choice Voting (ex. 5-Star voting)
- *No Digital Computer Voting (without a hand-marked paper ballot receipt kept for 7-years)
- No AI-generated deepfakes or political advertisements were created without clear labeling disclosures.
End Oligarchy and Corporate Corruption:
- Get money out of politics. End all Corporate Political Speech (no dark money, reverse Citizens United, no P.A.C.s, no more legalized corruption, only reported, limited donations from individual citizens within your districts or states)
- State and municipal-funded elections. (Matching money for small-dollar donations to make all candidates viable at a minimum level)
- Guaranteed and required access to public media, on a weekly basis, for candidates and elected officials at all levels, to give the public access to them on the record in an archived online forum (i.e. YouTube-type video conferences)
Citizen Oversight:
- Constitutional Conventions every 20 years to get buy-in from each new generation, and re-express basic values of our Constitutional representative democracy and secular, pluralistic, egalitarian, citizen self-governments, of, by, and for the people.
- Citizen-run commissions to oversee the Police, Healthcare, Judicial, and State Corporate organizations.
- No more private prisons.
- No more public tax money for religious schools.
- No more private armies or military contractors.
- Universal Healthcare: non-profit hospitals
- 4 years of required public service in exchange for tuition at public colleges and universities.
- 49% Inheritance Tax Rates over 100 X Median Income (Switch to Northern European-type tax progressive rates on Corporate, insurance, and investment income)
- End all insider trading by Politicians (i.e., Congress and Senate) at all levels.
